This is the first single from our forthcoming album “Come Home”... It is called “The Goodest Boy / The Goodest Bye” and it is a (mostly) instrumental song that is intended to convey the utter joy of a canine best friend... and the heartbreaking loss when mortality comes to claim your beloved. The second half of the song has the repeated phrase “Come Home”, as the voice of the forever hereafter calls The Goodest Boy back into the void of it’s breast. This one is for TomTom and Hamilton, the goodest golden boys, May they Rest In Peace. This song is also the intro and outro for the album, presented here as one unbroken composition, so that it may have its own life. The rest of the album (and the incredible artwork by Tom Denney! ) will be available soon... until then, enjoy the crushing weight of bittersweet joy and agony, because what else is life really??
